Huge antique, late 18th or early 19th century, long-legged spider brooch with colored glass body. The leggy brooch measures almost 3.5" wide.
 
Condition is excellent with loss of metal plating and other age-appropriate wear, which may include metal tarnish or patina or loss of plating, older glass may have dimmed or lost some of its foil backing, and light use marks may be visible on close inspection of hard surfaces. Photos show wear or are representative of the types of wear found throughout.
