Vintage silk tomesode kimono, can be worn as a coat or robe or dressing gown, populated by fat little men on a purple ground. Waist ties. Dip-dyed silk interior. Kimonos are generally considered 'one size fits most' with relaxed fit measurements that can be larger than the wearer. It measures about 47" around where tied, the length is 62".
Condition is excellent with only gentle age appropriate wear. As with all vintage and antique garments, age appropriate wear may include slight color variation or bleed on vintage and antique hand-dyed kimono textiles, light soil and/or discreet marks from previous use. A basting stitch (or the remnants of a basting stitch) may be found along the garments' edges—some kimono cleaners apply this stitch to hold the garment neatly in storage, it is easily removed if preffered. Photos may show additional wear, some might represent types of wear found throughout.
